White Sands, New Mexico - Strong southwest winds keep this brilliant white dunes ever changing. Only a few species of plants, like this soap tree yucca, grow rapidly enough to survive burial by the moving dunes.
According to the sender this place has been proposed as a UNESCO site and is awaiting it's apporval but apparently, US doesn't get along well with UNESCO so nobody knows if it will be conferred with the title. I do hope so as it looks awesome.
