This is my first Moomin card which comes with a matching stamp too! The sender tells me that Moomins are peaceful but really wise creatures living in Moomin valley. First Moomins have adventures in several books written by Finnish author Tave Janssen, but soon they had their own animated TV series..........and it comes with a matching moomin stamp too!

The "Kanikaku" - called festival, sung by poet Isamu Yoshii (Kyoto)

This has got to be one of my favourite postcards. It shows maikos who are young geishas in Kyoto where the sender is from.
