Received from paolognunes (Portugal) on 17/10/08

This very interesting homemade card is a picture from the tiled walls of the train station at Santarem. It depicts a "campino" (cattle worker) from Ribatejo. Santarem is the capital of the Portuguese bullfights which, I am very pleased to know, is different from the Spanish one in that they do not sacrifice the bulls.

Preikestolen - Lysefjorden. The Pulpit Rock.

This is the impressive Pulpit Rock in Lysefjorden. The view must be awesome way up there although I can't imagine how some people could actually be sitting with their legs dangling over the edge in the picture! For a person afraid of heights, I'll probably be woozy with vertigo :P
